Alright, so I might be talking ahead of myself right now but I just got off the phone with my truest supporters - my family.
I have been eyeing a platen press for almost a year and kept a small stash of savings ever since I had the opportunity to work with some renowned letterpress business owners...Family is always your biggest support so I only needed a small chunk of change to see if I am able to purchase this ginormous, beautiful machine! I felt like I was talking to a panel of judges to convince them but they know I rarely ask for anything unless I am very passionate about it - and it def has been awhile since I been raving about anything. They realize how focused I am on getting the press and how much of an investment it will be for me!
As some of you already know, I've always been intrigued with letterpress for years, but Why is it just recently that I've become literally infatuated with it - especially during a time that I am planning a wedding! Anyways, Months of research and obtaining
different quotes on presses lead me to a seller in Detroit- which is local for me since I grew up there! Detroit quoted me the best price and also offered alternative payment options !!
So to end all the suspicions, I bought the press and my goal is to bring it home by this Summer !! :) I am excited ! Can't wait to have Lady Saint Jeans in my possession.
