Look out weekend..at the D

Look out weekend cuz here i come,
because weekends were made for fun !
A busy one ahead but the best part is that I will be spending it with my family and friends in Michigan.
For the first time in years I don't feel constraint with time...It's such a relief to have your schedule ride with the wind and not because you have to report to work at 8am Monday !
It's 12:48 am Saturday morning and I just finished watching a movie starring Robert Dinero, Everybody's Fine. I didn't know what to expect from this movie but overall I recommend watching it. A movie such as this will bring you back to reality and how much family means so much to you.

Earlier today I visited my friend Annie at her job, Lisa's Gift Wrappers! One of the main reasons why I go there is to obviously say hello to "ma girl" and see how she's doing, but every single time I drop in, I leave the store feeling so productive, inspired and filled with creativity ! Although Annie says it was a 'slow' day, they always seem to have different projects lingering around - from wedding consultations to learning new gift wrapping styles, party favors, hospitality boxes, and invitations - whew ! Thanks ladies for the inspiration!
The rest of the day was a breeze:
  • mini trip to Target
  • cat nap in the afternoon
  • broasted chicken and broasted potato from chicken shack
  • researched and completed my scrapbooking contract
  • enjoyed time spent with my cozin Rochelle
(Yawn) wow - it's 1:09 am and I think it's about time to sleep. Good Night cyber world !
See you minana.

Home sweet Motown...

This is officially my first week of being jobless.
I am in the 10 percentile of being unemployed. So far I am enjoying it !
My first mini adventure is a trip back home to Michigan.
I arrived yesterday 3/3/10 and took a few pictures of the day.
Pictures of the snow and dead trees while on the Mega Bus
Pictures of I-75 route to the northern suburbs of Detroit
A pic of Nette and Nick's home in suburbia
And to save the best for last, Baby Julian wrapped up
in his Winter Gear to take a 2 min stroll outside in his Wagon with Daddy.
It was a very short stroll - he then recognized Mommy's car
driving up the driveway and wanted to welcome her home from a long days work !

Til then. Tata !
