Renegade Craft Fair Chicago 2010

I planned on staying in this weekend to 'take care of home 'but that went out the window when I stepped out and felt a nice cool breeze whisper in my ear saying "life is too short to NOT be inspired.get out and make it happen"...I dropped the laundry basket, fed the pooch and sure enough - was inspired ... Enjoy!!

This is a test post from flickr, a fancy photo sharing thing.

A stroll to the "Architectural Artifacts Museum"

Met with Jane this afternoon in front of the
Architectural Artifacts Museum!
It was so overwhelming and very exciting.
I felt like I took a trip in a time capsule and didn't
want to leave !!! Always knew it was there
but never had the curiosity, until Jane
told me to check it out...
Enjoy the album and I hope someday you take the time to
enjoy visiting this venue !!
SO BEAUTIFUL !!

Look out weekend..at the D

Look out weekend cuz here i come,
because weekends were made for fun !
A busy one ahead but the best part is that I will be spending it with my family and friends in Michigan.
For the first time in years I don't feel constraint with time...It's such a relief to have your schedule ride with the wind and not because you have to report to work at 8am Monday !
It's 12:48 am Saturday morning and I just finished watching a movie starring Robert Dinero, Everybody's Fine. I didn't know what to expect from this movie but overall I recommend watching it. A movie such as this will bring you back to reality and how much family means so much to you.

Earlier today I visited my friend Annie at her job, Lisa's Gift Wrappers! One of the main reasons why I go there is to obviously say hello to "ma girl" and see how she's doing, but every single time I drop in, I leave the store feeling so productive, inspired and filled with creativity ! Although Annie says it was a 'slow' day, they always seem to have different projects lingering around - from wedding consultations to learning new gift wrapping styles, party favors, hospitality boxes, and invitations - whew ! Thanks ladies for the inspiration!
The rest of the day was a breeze:
  • mini trip to Target
  • cat nap in the afternoon
  • broasted chicken and broasted potato from chicken shack
  • researched and completed my scrapbooking contract
  • enjoyed time spent with my cozin Rochelle
(Yawn) wow - it's 1:09 am and I think it's about time to sleep. Good Night cyber world !
See you minana.

Home sweet Motown...

This is officially my first week of being jobless.
I am in the 10 percentile of being unemployed. So far I am enjoying it !
My first mini adventure is a trip back home to Michigan.
I arrived yesterday 3/3/10 and took a few pictures of the day.
Pictures of the snow and dead trees while on the Mega Bus
Pictures of I-75 route to the northern suburbs of Detroit
A pic of Nette and Nick's home in suburbia
And to save the best for last, Baby Julian wrapped up
in his Winter Gear to take a 2 min stroll outside in his Wagon with Daddy.
It was a very short stroll - he then recognized Mommy's car
driving up the driveway and wanted to welcome her home from a long days work !

Til then. Tata !

The start of a new beginning !!

For some it might be frightening but for others this could be one of the most exciting things that could ever happen to them. From past experience I didn't have the benefits as I do now. I've matured, become independent, confident, and I feel more secure - well for now that is. ;P
I am officially now a part of the 9-10% of the United States Unemployed Labor Force.

Eventually I do have to get back on the bandwagon BUT for now I will take advantage of the time i have to re-analyze my life, take a few classes, and focus more on some of my side projects.

With that said, I hope you enjoy reading my blog as I will attempt to maintain a daily dose of the life of one and only E.

TaTa for now.
